Can YOU help our students? |
|
|
No matter how long ago graduation was, we know the impact of your study at LSE can last a lifetime.
During this challenging global situation a fresh cohort of students will soon be graduating from the School of Public Policy. It's big life change under any circumstances, but particularly this year - we're doing all we can to support our students, reminding them that they remain part of a community that will always support them in the years ahead.
We're therefore inviting our alumni to pass on your words of wisdom and best wishes to a new generation of the SPP. Do you have advice you wish you'd known before entering a particular sector? Words of wisdom that bear repeating? Or would you simply like to pass on a message of well wishes to everyone moving on from the SPP?
Right now we really want to demonstrate the SPP's fantastic community spirit to the student body. If you can offer advice or well wishes to our leavers, just let us know online and we'll be putting these together for an upcoming publication in summer term. It's a great way to support our students - we really hope you take part!

How have you been inspired to make a difference in the world? Our alumni in the spotlight, Amanda Feldman, chose to work through the field of impact: working on everything from oceans to infrastructure. Amanda has founded the Impact Management Project, as well as her company Heliotropy, and is also a non executive board member for Bethnal Green Ventures. Find out more about Amanda's story here.
Do you know an alumnus whose story should be shared with the SPP community? It could be a friend, a colleague, someone whose work you admire from afar - it could even be yourself! Drop us a line to recommend the next alumni profile. |

The SPP might be locked down in body, but by no means in spirit! Several alumni have taken part in our new e-networking sessions, joining video sessions to talk about their work and answer questions from our students. Three events -
Working in Government, Working in Finance, and
Working in Consultancy - have been held, and our students have really enjoyed the chance to connect with alumni.
A humungous thank you to everyone who joined a panel - we really appreciate your taking the time to network with our students!
